Arabic Dial Watches from Wecord London
An Arabic dial watch marks the hours with Eastern Arabic numerals, the figures used across the Gulf, rather than the 1, 2, 3 forms most Western watches carry. Our Duke Collection sets those numerals on a slim rectangular case built in 316L stainless steel with anti reflective sapphire crystal, driven by a Swiss Ronda 1062 quartz movement. The Arabic dial version is made for the Middle East and is not sold in our other markets.
Choosing your size
Two case sizes cover most wrists. The small model measures 35mm by 24mm and weighs 74g, sitting neatly on a slimmer wrist. The large model measures 41mm by 32mm at 105g and carries more presence under a cuff. Both stand only 6mm thick, so either slides under a sleeve without catching. If you want stone setting, the small model with diamonds keeps the same case and adds brilliance around the dial.
Green or burgundy
The Arabic dial is offered in deep green and rich burgundy against a silver case and bracelet. Green reads as the quieter of the two in daylight and suits daily office wear. Burgundy carries more warmth and works well for evenings and occasion dressing. Both tones sit comfortably alongside our cord bracelets if you prefer to stack.

Frequently asked questions
What is an Arabic dial watch?
It is a watch that displays the hours in Eastern Arabic numerals, the script used in the UAE and across the wider Gulf, instead of the numerals common on European dials. Watch collectors often call the standard 1, 2, 3 markers Arabic numerals too, which causes confusion. When shoppers in the UAE search for an Arabic dial watch, they usually mean the Eastern script you see on the Duke Arabic models.
Are Arabic numeral watches for men or women?
Both. The design is unisex and the choice comes down to case size rather than gender. The large model is the more common pick for men and the small model for women, though plenty of customers choose the opposite. You can also browse our full ranges of men's watches and women's watches.
Which size should I choose?
Measure your wrist first. Wrists around 14cm to 16cm are usually best served by the small model at 35mm by 24mm. Wrists from roughly 16cm upward suit the large model at 41mm by 32mm. Our size guide walks through the measurement, and our team can adjust the bracelet length in store.
What is inside the case?
A Swiss Ronda 1062 quartz movement, chosen for accuracy and for how thin it allows the case to be. The case and bracelet are 316L stainless steel, the same grade used for surgical instruments, and the glass is anti reflective sapphire crystal, which resists scratching far better than mineral glass.
Can I wear an Arabic dial watch in water?
The Duke Arabic models are rated 3 ATM, which is roughly 30 metres. That covers rain, splashes and washing your hands. It is not a rating for swimming, diving or hot showers, so take the watch off before entering a pool or the sea.
Is there a warranty, and can I see the watches in Dubai?
Every Wecord watch carries a two year warranty. Full terms are on our warranty page. You can try the Arabic dial models on at our Dubai Mall and Al Khawaneej Walk boutiques. Addresses and opening hours are on our store locator.
